Blogmas Day 10: Busy and Productive
December is moving on. Saturday was truly a God send! It was a productive but relaxed day. We didn’t stop for much at the house but it was nice being home! Here’s Elmo! He has pretty much dominated Little Bit’s front porch. We tried to run him off but he eventually overcame our hearts. This is often what our mornings look like. I often sit here in the chair along with Maddie and prioritize my to do list. And Dexter sits on the bed and George works on the computer a bit, checks the news, checks the bank, pays any bills. We sip coffee, get our showers and then head in. The Busiest Weekend Ever
Our Friday night started with me doing laundry so that I would have half a chance of finishing our weekly 6 loads of 2 darks, 1 color, whites, towels, and sheets. I began fussing Friday night, knowing I was going to have to race and fight the clock to get things done. All week long I’d imagined that we’d be leaving around 11 Saturday to start our shopping excursion and then would have some of the morning. At least that is what we have always done in the past.
