Our Little Getaway, Plus Life Lately
Happy Saturday! Just wanted to share the little getaway we had last week. What fun! I hope you enjoy it. You can watch it HERE. Real life update: It’s been busy as usual. And I’ve been a little overwhelmed and frustrated trying to catch up. I sat down yesterday with 90 things I wanted to do yesterday built up over time. And made myself get it down to 40 but pretty much only got about 27 of them done. Normally I could have knocked most of them out pretty quick, but life is getting harder. Here’s what’s going on. Finding Happiness in the Midst of Chaos
On the Search for Happiness With our crazy little life since April, (moving Mom to assisted living, estate sale, someone in the family being horribly mean to me, dealing with Mom and all her wants and desires while being the only sibling willing to do it, handling difficulties at home, and getting Mom’s house ready to sell) it has left me completely dry and spent and at times unhappy. Oops did I forget YouTube which takes a lot of my week too? I have really worked at trying to at least be content, stay grounded in the Lord, and keep everything going everywhere. Well, it’s been a couple weeks now since this move was complete, getting Mom to assisted living. In this video I discuss the AFTERMATH of the move, and how it is going with assisted living.
