    A Week of Contentment and Joy

    It’s been a fun week this week and a week of just inner joy, enjoying retirement – no real place I had to be and just being able to live a slow but yet fulfilling few days. I have been bad about writing. I am trying to figure out why because it used to be the first thing I did when I got up. I was anxious to tell the world about my day the day before.     Monday, March 23 Excited to have a good stretch of week to get a few things done that I’ve been trying to do. Mom does not have any doctors appointments this week and we have no outings planned. I think we both needed a break. The days out are certainly hard on her trying to get up and ready and out the door. And they tire me out too for some reason.     What’s REALLY Going On: The Ups and Downs

    Saturday March 7, 2026 Today has been good. It’s been joyous and I have felt joy, peace, and contentment in my heart. I’ve been waiting for this feeling for a while. I don’t know what makes the difference. The opposite of peace and joy is something akin to….something I can describe but to say it’s like something between “oh gosh, I need more time” and being frustrated that I don’t have any.
