    Christmas: Here’s How it Went Down

    First of all, now that I’m really getting a good look at this picture, it’s making me laugh! The concern on Dexter’s face….lol. He’s so afraid of noise. So my guess is that George was making some noises in the kitchen that had him concerned. But it’s funny because it is so typical and I actually caught his expression unintentionally. Our lasagna dinner on Christmas Eve was excellent. We had Caesar salad, vegetable lasagna made with a white wine sauce, garlic bread and baklava for dessert.     Will You Come With Me?

    Let’s take a little visit to Christmas Past. I wanna go to Mamma’s again on Christmas Eve. She will have her little bag ready to come spend the night with us in town. Grandaddy Davis will stay there with the dogs. He was always a loner anyway and loved his quietness. I might’ve gotten some of that from him. We drive across the city pulling out of our little neighborhood in Columbia, TN and onto the main highways through Columbia and take Hwy 99 out to the Bear Creek area.     Journals of the Days Before Christmas

    Saturday, Dec 20 It’s been a busy little day. Katy and Cody and the grands came over this morning around 11. And George’s cousin Elizabeth came over to see everyone. After that we headed to ML Rose to get a burger and a beer. And then it was time for the kids to nap back at Cody’s parent’s house where they are staying.
