    A Hail Storm and Wild Pig Trails

    We went for an early morning walk yesterday. Katy wanted to get out of the house and of course we all needed to move. So we walked along the ranch road. Come join the walk with me. Above is a pig trail. We didn’t see any the whole time we were there on the ranch. Here’s some pics of the terrain! In an almost dessert dry location the Lord still makes beautiful things in the landscape. Lots of little wildflowers. This one will be pretty when it blooms. Poppy and River.     Blogmas Day 10: Busy and Productive

    December is moving on. Saturday was truly a God send! It was a productive but relaxed day. We didn’t stop for much at the house but it was nice being home! Here’s Elmo! He has pretty much dominated Little Bit’s front porch. We tried to run him off but he eventually overcame our hearts. Little Bit has moved to the back porch and George feeds him separately to avoid Male cat fighting. Honestly it’s hard for me to tell them apart lol. Except Elmo has more white on his chest.     Planning PTO Days, Overnight Storms, and Technical Difficulties

    I’ve been saving them up – my PTO days. I wasn’t sure I had accrued much time. I was able to add up the time I had accrued, plus the days upcoming, as there is 10 more bi-weekly periods in the year. When I figure what I will accrue between now and end of the year, I’ll be able to plan some days here and there and have enough for Christmas. This was a welcome surprise. I’d not even had much time to look at this until today. My boss handed me my check stub which has our PTO accrued on there. I decided to stop right then and there…
