Feeling Blessed to Have a Relaxed and Less Stressful Weekend
It has been a very relaxing weekend. I didn’t post yesterday since I had posted later on Friday. There is nothing spectacular that has occurred within the last day or so except that just being home and having time to unwind while getting a little bit of housework done has been nice. We had a bit of time on Friday afternoon after George’s procedure (colonoscopy). He really bounced back and didn’t even want to go to bed when he got home. Weekend is Long Gone; Where Do We Go From Here
Well, as expected, Mom was not happy with the comforter, shams, curtains, valances purchase. The blue won’t work. That room is already beautiful. And yes, as expected, I returned all four hundred something dollars of it yesterday after church and after taking her out to eat. And yes, as you gathered, I have not had a weekend. My laundry is not finished. I had to wear jeans to church (it didn’t hurt my feelings), because I had no long pants to wear. Saturday Shopping, My Long To Do List for Today, and Weekend Update
We’ve been watching The Hidden Life of Pets on Netflix. And Dexter noticed “Little Bit” on there. It’s not really Little Bit, but Dexter is very curious. Breakfast at iHop with Mom. I did not eat all the pancake, maybe a 1/4 of it. It was a protein pancake and I tasted the cream but it was too much. The blueberries were great! Our waitress disappeared and I had to go ask for Mom to get more coffee and for our checks.
