Random Week in Retirement | This Week’s Update
Well we had a fun little time in Columbia, my old hometown where I grew up, but it did make my heart heavy as there was not only good times there but some heartbreaking times as well. So a little heavy at times. We had company over as Aunt Martha and Uncle Ken were up from Florida (Yulee/Amelia Island area) near Jacksonville. We enjoyed getting to see them. Weekend Vibes, Good Coffee, and Some Fun
George found this “Frothy Cappuccino” and we don’t drink it every day but on a cold winter evening after dinner and as we set in to watch a movie, it’s a wonderful thing. It’s both cozy and enough to keep us awake during the movie but not harm our sleep. The bad news is so far we haven’t found it again and we only have one left, but we haven’t looked very hard. Getting my Hair Cut and Shopping Day!
Good morning. You can watch the video HERE. This was a pretty good week all in all. It’s been fun doing the “spend the week with me” vlogs here and there when things are going on. We enjoyed our excursion and I’m pretty happy with the outcome. Secret: I’m thinking the Sloth is my Spirit Animal. lol Slow and steady. And yes, I DID buy that hat!
