Reflections, Tornado Warnings, Orzo Salad, and Spring Blooms
It’s been a little crazy busy lately and we are all over the place, but here is just a true vlog style, day-to-day coverage of the prior week. I did some reflecting on the week Mom went into the hospital and we came out with plans for assisted living. I recapped all that our family did well in that week of crisis. We enjoy the blooms of spring, a tornado warning, making Orzo Salad and spending time with Maddie with her newly groomed look! She is very clingy these days – maybe since I’ve been gone so much. Finding Rest amidst Fall’s Beauty
Good morning. Here’s the vlog today. You can watch it here. I’d been feeling pretty burned out and I needed a bit of rest from vlogging. I had planned everything so I wouldn’t have to vlog. I was ahead in the videos. But guess what? I couldn’t do it. I picked up the camera and well, here I am. It’s shorter than normal. It captures some moments of rest and down time. A Little Relax Time on the Ranch
Good afternoon! We are back from church. The kids are taking their afternoon nap for 2-3 hours. So I’m back at the guest house. Whenever we are here we always give them their nap time, give Katy and Cody their time. And it gives me some time to myself and we don’t wear out our welcome. I’ve also enjoyed coffee time. I did not see the mice last night nor this morning so I think the one mouse DID listen to me about moving his family immediately before they set traps out. I want them to survive but just not here.
