Reflections, Tornado Warnings, Orzo Salad, and Spring Blooms

A woman reflecting while enjoying a bowl of orzo salad.

It’s been a little crazy busy lately and we are all over the place, but here is just a true vlog style, day-to-day coverage of the prior week. I did some reflecting on the week Mom went into the hospital and we came out with plans for assisted living. I recapped all that our family did well in that week of crisis. We enjoy the blooms of spring, a tornado warning, making Orzo Salad and spending time with Maddie with her newly groomed look! She is very clingy these days – maybe since I’ve been gone so much. You can watch the video HERE.

Hi Sonya, just watched the VLOG it came out real well and I enjoyed it very much. So glad that Mum is still ok about assisted living I hope the visit next week will go well. I am already anxious to hear how it goes. You and George have a very busy time for the next few weeks. I pray that it won’t be long before she gets to move…it’s a really bad time in between making the decision and actually moving …our imagination can give us nightmares. I was lucky….i think…in that we had only just under a month to move from our village where Mum …and me for that matter….had been born so it was a big move to the town of Bath 375 miles south.( we had been visiting Bath lots as my sisters lived there.) but it was a very hectic three weeks. Thankfully I had a very good couple of friends who were with me every step of the way and we made it…but getting rid of things was awful for Mum …but it worked so well once we moved…..I am keeping you all in my prayers. By the way I adored all your Mums beautiful glass and china…..it’s very sad that nowadays young people really don’t want o.ur “things” ….Good Luck getting them appreciated by others …..night night. God Bless

Yes fortunately she won’t have to watch all of the things being dismantled. Thanks for watching. I think the move in is likely going to be June.
It’ll all work out like it is supposed to.

It makes my day when I hear from you...
