    Diverticulitis Scare, Banana Milk, a Weekend Wedding, and Anniversary Flowers

    This has been my world of late. Except the rice. I never ate the rice but did instant mashed potatoes instead. I have had to revisit the way that I look at and eat food. And I think I am going to have to make a permanent change. There are some common threads to this happening: stress, being busy, eating out a lot, eating pizza and burgers – things with lots of bread, sausages and pepperonis. Probably just the entire western diet!! Many other countries do not have such a problem with diverticulitis. I probably need to do another research project. But for now, I have vowed to eating less…

    Big Announcement! Baby #2 is coming in Spring 2024!

    It is with much JOY that I announce Grandbaby #2 is on its way. Is this not the cutest thing? Little Roo kissing his little baby brother or sister. We will know soon the gender. The baby comes in late March of 2024. We are very excited! I think this one is my very favorite of him in the pics. So sweet.     Doc Appointments, Car Breakdown, and Time Crunches

    It’s been a week! Doc appointments, a car break down, and time crunching. It’s also been a fast week. I can’t believe that tomorrow is Friday! Of course Monday was the holiday and we were with Katy and Cody and our grandson. Tuesday I had payroll and didn’t finish. I was there 9 hours or so but it was 90 in our offices so I left out of desperation. Wednesday I finished payroll. So I was already behind by a day and then had to leave at half day to take Mom to get her heart test. Luckily though the a/c was back. I don’t know why there was so…
