Bye Summer Decor, Eating Well, Sweltering Office with NO A/C, and Tick Removals
Over the weekend, I said good-bye to some of my greenery to make room for the fall decor. The kids were in town but we had Saturday and I had most of Sunday after church since it was George’s “divide and conquer” day to take Mom to the store. Of course I had way more on my list as usual than I was able to get done. But I was happy to get all the fall decor out and get everything dusted. September Coming, Test Results, and Retirement Finances
September is almost here. There is a little bit of excitement in the air, but there is also hesitation. My sister is having a rough time with her cancer treatments. She is near the end of the treatments. Almost through with chemo and almost through with radiation. She has reached the point though where she has some very painful radiation burns that has peeled the skin back to raw flesh in numerous spots and in very tender parts of her body. We are very upset but there is nothing we can do to make that better except let her know we are thinking of her. She is hoping not to…

MRI Scheduled, Mom’s Stuff, and Weird Work
The MRI’s have been booked for this coming Monday morning for brain, neck/spine, and cervix. As far as the bloodwork, and me being able to tell what is what, it looked like the inflammatory marker numbers were above normal. Sugar was just barely over but better. Cholesterol about the same (higher than it should be). My vitamin D was a little over b/c I have doubled up on those. But I’ll go back to one a day now. I’ll add in an extra one every other day when the days get shorter. I have felt better this week. This morning even after a good night’s sleep I woke up tired.…
