The week has gone by fast but yet it seems this morning, it’s not going by fast enough. I’m grateful that our home was spared and trying to have patience as I understand fully the reasons why it is hard to get to work and get home. But the facts remain, it still DOES hurt when you have to pee after being in the car for over 3 hours and nothing is open. Tornado on the Ground
We were woken up – thank goodness – by the phone’s emergency alert. See where that Blue Dot is? That is where we were. Right in the path. About a mile south of us (and that blue dot) is where the devastation was. I got up turned on Danielle Breezy on WKRN Channel 2 news and saw it was headed straight for us, I told George “tornado on the ground” and then Maisy and I went to the basement. Well, trying to enjoy a little Saturday morning here but the weather is playing havoc all around. Hopefully the power will not go off and hopefully no trips to the basement. What was supposed to be the worst weather to our south, has us with Tornado Warnings north of us, now meaning that we are in the wild weather path.
