Dexter Dog Recovery, Mom’s Day Out, Difficult Grocery Shopping, and Sunday’s Mile Long To Do List
Dexter has been amazing. He has hardly acted as if anything has happened since his Thursday neutering. He’s a little subdued and we’ve given him meds daily for calming/pain. I was worried how we would keep him off of bed and sofa but honestly it is no effort at all for him to do either as he has such long legs it’s no effort. He is actually more loving I think. He sees that we are caring for him and loving on him and I think our bonds are improving with him. He loves us. And I think he’s pretty happy being here. We can mark “Dexter’s snip snip” off…

Getting a Day at Home | Picking a New Hairstyle | Busy Week Ahead
The gift of having a Saturday with no obligations has become a rare thing around here and I was blessed at having such a day. George had asked of our schedule a couple of weeks ago what we had planned and said “let’s don’t plan anything for that weekend”. So I kept Saturday pure and clean and nothing on it. Sunday we had to get out for church would probably take Mom to get something to eat and a store run. So when she asked us to have chili at her house after church I accepted so we’ll do that. So, sometime in the last couple of weeks, as I “see” the season of busy come upon us again, I realized that there is a bitter sweet accompaniment to my thoughts.
