Well, we are ALL so very different, but somehow God brought us together back in 1980 and 1981. And yet again here in 2024. One of our girls could not join us at the last minute, but we missed her. Quite a fun lunch and catching up in Williamson County, TN. A nice little mini reunion. One of the girls made this dessert. It’s been quite the rush of a weekend. It’s all gone by so fast. Birthday Vlog, New Year Mindset, Ignoring the Negativity
Somehow I was able to get this video done this week. You can watch it here. The antibiotics are working I think. Still having some pain but not much. I got the 2nd extension of my antibiotics yesterday. Got us to our nails appointment after work on Wednesday, and a full on grocery run for Mom, and a few things for myself that I thought I could eat at work. Got Mom a drive thru hamburger and although I could only drink liquids, she was over there munching on fries and offering me some. Got her groceries unloaded. Chinese Take Out, Life Group Gathering, and No More Drama
Well, our BIG GOAL for this weekend has been accomplished. We had our life group over today. All came but one couple, who was traveling. There’s five of us couples in the group. So Friday night we had to go to the store to get the fresh ingredients. Next door to the grocery store, there is an excellent Chinese Restaurant. So we bought enough food for Fri and Sat nights. I’m bad about snapping pics without warning. lol. That way we could just eat that and not be cooking for ourselves. We got the food (and the house) ready Saturday.
