Well, here is part II of our Texas travel. A chatty vlog about a couple of “funny” things that happened there in TX and also a lot of feelings about quitting work and retiring. Sometimes a Day Brings Huge Surprises
We have something brewing. And it’s a good thing. Our neighbor’s daughter found this one and rescued her. Not chipped, and no one is claiming a lost dog and area vets have not received notice. Our neighbor had not decided yet if she could keep her when we met her. I wanted to carry the dog home immediately because it was love at first sight for me. The dog took to me and was happy. Behind the Scenes: Christmas Day at Our House with Family, Food, Fun, Fur Babes, and Foibles
The day started off intensely cold and also ended that way. The sunrise coming through the sunroom with the snow, was beautiful. I noted the ice developing on the windows and that God had painted a daffodil with the ice on the window, giving promise of warmer days to come. How cool is that? And we ended up with a white Christmas for the first time in about 13 years I think. George and Dexter and I opened our stockings and sipped coffee.
