A Week of Contentment and Joy
It’s been a fun week this week and a week of just inner joy, enjoying retirement – no real place I had to be and just being able to live a slow but yet fulfilling few days. I have been bad about writing. I am trying to figure out why because it used to be the first thing I did when I got up. I was anxious to tell the world about my day the day before. A Few Moments in Time this Week, Photo Style
The deer have been more prevalent in our yard. And spring is almost knocking on the door. The temps are fickle and can’t decide what to do. The storms will settle it out next week with severe storms mid-week. Our Black Cats Someone was very interested in seeing the cats. I’ll be able to include them more now that we will be outside more with them. I’ll have more opportunities to catch them. In the winter, we are in and out quickly. And yes, they stay in the basement on really cold nights or they have their Styrofoam houses with blankets if they want them. Here is Elmo below. And…

Blogmas Day 23: Where’s the Joy?
I video’d during a rough patch. December was not as fun as I’d hoped. The older we get, the more I’m reminded of how fragile life is and we never really know how long we have. Yeah that’s a bit morbid for the 23rd of December, but when you can’t eat much more than broth, rice and potatoes for several days……you start to thinking and wondering and the morale goes South.
