    Kicking the Winter Blues

    It can be a struggle this time of year as we anticipate spring, new life, and a revival of all things refreshing and green! I struggle in Feb and early March so I know the blues are going to try to set in as I get impatient for warmer temps. I’m sharing with you how I’m getting by. I’m not gonna lie, it’s been a struggle – even since I filmed this video. Most of my struggles have been time based though and not a lack of sunshine. But still, these things apply.     ICE STORM in TENNESSEE but Cozy Inside!

I think I’m kinda looking forward to spring, but then we’ll have chances for tornadoes, but we have been grateful to have power and it was nice to be cooped up for a week, honestly an introvert’s dream, lol.

    The Week of the Snow and Ice Storm in Tennessee

    Sunday, January 25 Well, we’ve been in Winter Storm mode since Friday night around midnight. We had a beautiful snowfall of probably 3 to 4 inches, then sleet on top of that by Saturday night. It sleeted a lot overnight Saturday night. At 3:30 a.m. I woke up to the sound of a falling tree. I think it was the tree that hit the neighbors driveway. Luckily missed their car.
