A Few Moments in Time this Week, Photo Style
The deer have been more prevalent in our yard. And spring is almost knocking on the door. The temps are fickle and can’t decide what to do. The storms will settle it out next week with severe storms mid-week. Our Black Cats Someone was very interested in seeing the cats. I’ll be able to include them more now that we will be outside more with them. I’ll have more opportunities to catch them. In the winter, we are in and out quickly. And yes, they stay in the basement on really cold nights or they have their Styrofoam houses with blankets if they want them. Here is Elmo below. And…

Uncle Julio’s, Salty Dog, Fixing Leaks
We had a nice dinner at Uncle Julio’s with my sister and her family. If you know, you know, this is wonderful that my Mom and my sister and me can have a meal together again. I’m grateful that my sister agreed to meet again. We met at Thanksgiving and also Saturday in Brentwood, which is about half way. We ordered the guacamole at the table which was so good and creamy. It’s the nicest Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to I think. And the fajitas were the best I’ve ever had. They were so good and uniquely grilled and larger pieces meat as well. So good. Weekend Vibes, Good Coffee, and Some Fun
George found this “Frothy Cappuccino” and we don’t drink it every day but on a cold winter evening after dinner and as we set in to watch a movie, it’s a wonderful thing. It’s both cozy and enough to keep us awake during the movie but not harm our sleep. The bad news is so far we haven’t found it again and we only have one left, but we haven’t looked very hard. I’m sure we can find it somewhere. Friday night I was able to forget work, forget YouTube, forget life and just chill with my dogs, my wine, my book, and check in with my family.
