Last Minute Adventure, Thai Experience, and Snowed In For a Bit
The day after Christmas, more snow began falling. It was not forecasted ahead of time and when it was it was an advisory – maybe a dusting to an inch, might cause a few little problems – no big deal. Riiiiggghhhhtttt! It was almost as bad as the first one. However, the main roads quickly recovered. Our driveway and neighborhood roads did not. Behind the Scenes: Christmas Day at Our House with Family, Food, Fun, Fur Babes, and Foibles
The day started off intensely cold and also ended that way. The sunrise coming through the sunroom with the snow, was beautiful. I noted the ice developing on the windows and that God had painted a daffodil with the ice on the window, giving promise of warmer days to come. How cool is that? And we ended up with a white Christmas for the first time in about 13 years I think. George and Dexter and I opened our stockings and sipped coffee. Prepping for Christmas, Fruit Basket Gifts, and Snow and Ice Changing our Plans
Blogmas Day 23 finds us with a wonderful day off. I slept in for an hour or so, fixed coffee, started the laundry, and fixed fruit baskets for some gifts we needed to deliver today. I made the sausage balls and cleaned off the table and decorated it for Christmas Eve dinner which is now turned into lunch (more on that coming).
