Summer Bucket List and a Few Surprises
Sunday May 31, 2026 I started a new bucket list for the summer. I had to move a lot from our spring list on to this list. We have just been so busy with Mom’s health and setting up her move. Here was how our list shaped up for Spring: I read 3 books, got my Acaii bowl, cleaned out Mom’s fridge, lost 6 lbs, went yard sailing with George, went to Salvo’s Pizza, had a nice Easter meal, went to Ella’s wedding, looked to declutter the basement closet (we already did it, lol), cleaned out Dexter’s toys, decluttered my unused filming equipment, Mother’s Day celebrations, used up our Starbuck’s…

Summer Funk is almost Over and Fall is Coming Ya’ll!
Hello Friends. We have a fabulous week going on here. I can feel my spirit go from kind of a dead summer funk to a cozy, fall-is-almost-here, kind of vibe. After all school is back in session, we are starting to look ahead and plan for the rest of the year, a few leaves are falling when the winds blow, and a few are turning already even though the heat is still 90 degrees most days. Summer’s End, Birthday Celebrations, Excursions into Nashville
Good morning everyone. Sipping coffee here on this fine Saturday of a 3 day weekend that we have here in America. It’s Labor Day Weekend and that spells out “end of summer” for most of us. School is already in session. We are empty nesters so no kids in our household but the traffic impacts me with its increase in volume on both ends of the commute.
