Summer’s End, Birthday Celebrations, Excursions into Nashville

Good morning everyone. Sipping coffee here on this fine Saturday of a 3 day weekend that we have here in America. It’s Labor Day Weekend and that spells out “end of summer” for most of us. School is already in session. We are empty nesters so no kids in our household but the traffic impacts me with its increase in volume on both ends of the commute.

This week I take you along with us for some of our “end of summer” experiences, George’s birthday excursions, some shopping, eating out at some unique dining experiences, visiting a brewery in Nashville, and some home clips. You can watch the video HERE.

I’ve had a lot of footage built up and so for a couple of weeks in August I did not film each Saturday. I took a little a little break and let the video’s catch up to time. I began filming last week again and am filming today. So everything is on track. But this video has things that happened during the time I wasn’t filming during August. I think it made for an interesting and a little different vibe from the norm. I hope you enjoy it.

Work is going well. The weeks are flying by. I am happy and glad I went ahead and gave my notice so as to not continue to be bugged about it. I’ve seen a couple of interviews. Everyone was in such a big hurry to get someone in there, lol. I have almost finished with the payroll notebook. I didn’t have time to work on it this week due to month end taxes but hopefully can write the processes for WED, THURS, FRI in detail to finish it up. The notebook has been restructured and made to look nicer with better tabs and reorganized by section as best as I could do it. I’ve already written the MON, TUES processes. And of course each subject or task is already set up in there as well with specifics. So almost through with this.

I think I have only 70 actual work days to go. I realized I miscounted last week somehow. Anyway I keep a little dashboard of a countdown going in my to do list at work.

The tummy issues are ok. I was able to eat prime rib with ZERO problems. Only a hamburger set me off on Sunday but it was short-lived cramping and a few IBS symptoms with that without being specific. lol So not sure if it was the hamburger or the horribly fattening deli topped French fries at a local deli we went too. It was like a ham and Swiss on fries. So I’m not sure. I know there’s been a recall on deli meat and not sure where they get theirs from. Hard to know. Today is my last day of tracking. I’m happy to not have to track this anymore! I do have some findings and that is that eating better has healed me and made my gut stronger and in doing so I have been able to eat a few things that are bad and be able to tolerate it, if that makes sense. I am considering a follow up video to my previous gut video at some point as a mid-week video.

Anyway, everyone have a good week. I’m filming the Fall Decor video today and doing it in a little bit different way from the past. I’ll keep the vlog going for most of the weekend I think. The following week is filming the Fall Planning and how I do that into the next year. And after that is the week I am just going to film a day of me not looking at my list. At the end of the day we’ll see what all important things I forgot, lol. Lots of fun stuff coming. Then we will probably be filming us Christmas shopping and doing some excursions into Nashville. We gotta do our fall planning so we know when that is, that’s part of the planning, lol.

Take care everyone, Happy Labor Day and see you in a few days. Here’s the video again for your convenience: WATCH HERE.
