Taking a Day to Unwind, Refresh, and Breathe
Well, as we were up getting ready for church yesterday, Mom called and said that she just didn’t feel like going. She had said the day before she didn’t need much in the way of groceries, so I took the opportunity to stay home myself. It’s going to be rare to get a day off the rest of the year for catch up. I will have a few days off to wrap and get ready for Christmas coming in December. Productive and Relaxing Weekend, Cooking a Lot, and Spending Time with the Dogs
Good morning! It has been a great 3 day weekend. Of course, no, I did not get everything done as I have a month’s worth lined up each off day. But the main thing is that I get to enjoy being home, working on the household, getting to cook, plan, be with the doggies, and just breathe. We were gone 1/2 of the weekend so that explains a lot. If I hadn’t had Friday off I’d still be spinning my wheels trying to just get the laundry done and the house some how decent. Getting a Day at Home | Picking a New Hairstyle | Busy Week Ahead
The gift of having a Saturday with no obligations has become a rare thing around here and I was blessed at having such a day. George had asked of our schedule a couple of weeks ago what we had planned and said “let’s don’t plan anything for that weekend”. So I kept Saturday pure and clean and nothing on it. Sunday we had to get out for church would probably take Mom to get something to eat and a store run. So when she asked us to have chili at her house after church I accepted so we’ll do that.
