Retirement, Halloween, and November Projects
Now that it’s NOV 1st, I added the turkey decor to the table. I love this little google-eyed turkey. So how are you guys doing? I think I’m just floating along. Trying to get the most important things done, responsibilities met, and then doing things from there when I can sneak them in. The feel of cooler weather and the holidays are giving me a sense of excitement and encouragement. I’m feeling a mixture of feelings about the videos right now. Just kinda bitter/sweet thoughts. I love doing them – not gonna quit – still planning – still strategizing – still holding things off til closer to retirement. Not much…

Happy Halloween Everyone
Hope you all have a happier Halloween! I’m doing payroll today. Currently at lunch! I’m eating a Marie Calendar’s Pot Pie and it is hitting the spot today! The cooler air has arrived. We are in our warmer clothes. Are you all dressing up today? One of our office mates brought candy. My favorite is Reese’s, so I got one! Katy has been sick with a bug and she’s better today and back to work. My sisters white cell count is in the normal range now and she can get out more. Her red blood cell needs to increase though. She gets pretty tired as the day goes on. So…

A Week of Being Productive, Meeting Challenges, Learning, Living, Enjoying Life, and Now Resting
It has been a beautiful week. Monday was special with our grandson and his Halloween costume. He loved being Mickey! It’s so fun watching them enjoy the thrills and privileges of childhood. We were told that at his first trick or treat stop a candy was put in his pumpkin bucket and he looked up and said “two?” lol. Perhaps he will be a grand negotiator one day. George and I enjoyed our own Halloween out on the town. We went to Panera for a quick dinner as we had a gift card to use up and then we went Christmas shopping.
