A Big Week of Testing at the Hospital for Mom
Monday, April 13, 2026 Well, this is the week Mom has her tests. Her big day is tomorrow. She has a CT scan and also a Carotid Ultrasound and meets with a surgeon and another heart specialist that work together to see if she is eligible for the TAVR valve replacement. She has had a lot of instructions which started today about drinking water, and what days specifically she has to stop taking meds and when she can start them again. And no caffeine after midnight. So I have alerts set on my phone to remind her of these things each day. I’m not very good at being my brain…

Sunday, Feb 8, 2026 I’m just gonna be honest. I’m kinda stressed out right now. I shouldn’t be I don’t think but I am. First of all, the pic above was something I asked Chet to do (ChatGPT). Creative Time, Better Sleep, and Substack
Sometimes you just have to kick things aside and create the time. So I did that amidst a string of laundry, sheet changing, kitchen cleaning, and even after some reading, and a devo and a Bible Study. So a good mix of a day and my HAPPY METER is off the charts.
