    Summer’s End, Birthday Celebrations, Excursions into Nashville

    Good morning everyone. Sipping coffee here on this fine Saturday of a 3 day weekend that we have here in America. It’s Labor Day Weekend and that spells out “end of summer” for most of us. School is already in session. We are empty nesters so no kids in our household but the traffic impacts me with its increase in volume on both ends of the commute. This week I take you along with us for some of our “end of summer” experiences, George’s birthday excursions, some shopping, eating out at some unique dining experiences, visiting a brewery in Nashville, and some home clips.     Uncle Julio’s, Salty Dog, Fixing Leaks

    We had a nice dinner at Uncle Julio’s with my sister and her family. If you know, you know, this is wonderful that my Mom and my sister and me can have a meal together again. I’m grateful that my sister agreed to meet again. We met at Thanksgiving and also Saturday in Brentwood, which is about half way. We ordered the guacamole at the table which was so good and creamy. It’s the nicest Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to I think. And the fajitas were the best I’ve ever had. They were so good and uniquely grilled and larger pieces meat as well. So good.     Snowed In Days and Anxiety Getting Out In It

    Well the snow arrived. Sharing some pics. You can see that we’ve managed to walk around the house! I think we had 5 or 6 inches or so.  Here’s the graveyard in the woods behind us. Here’s my office set up at home. I got a lot done yesterday. No interruptions much and not much email. I got our weekly taxes paid, stuffed the check stubs for our TN plant. Paid the federal taxes, worked on my garnishment reconciliation.  Monday I was able to make the switcheroo on my white board in my office to list the goals for the year. Where you see dashes are spaces for me to X off (ie. use my camera…
