    Appendix Surgery Follow-Up Appt and Feeling a Bit Off Center

    I had my followup finally with the surgeon. He gave me the notes on it, in which I had to look up a few things to understand and I’m sure I still don’t understand it all. I wish I could ask a few more questions, lol. Bottom line, there was a perforation in my appendix that went through all the layers of the appendix. In the doctor’s words, he said “it was very inflamed and it was ready to come out”. I let him know that I’d been having issues for almost a year.     Going Back to Work the Week after Surgery

    Captured daily, the progress of my recovery from laparoscopic appendectomy. What was hard? What hurt. Going back to work four days after surgery. Should I have done that so soon? Was it hard to sleep? Sit? What was my mental state like? What day after surgery was the worst? How long did it take to feel better? You can watch it HERE. Texas trip put me a week or two behind in video editing, but we’ll get caught up in a few weeks. I “kinda” have a plan on how to do that, by taking next weekend off of filming.
