    It’s Wednesday already. It shocks me how fast Mon and Tuesday go by. The weeks are flying. And you know that is ok by me. I’m already pondering my schedule in retirement in my mind. And I’m already contemplating what I want that to look like, and how much time I’m wanting to put into each facet of my life and how much I’m not, what’s in, and what’s out!     Charlie Daniels Park Market Night and Other Updates

    We had a great time last night. We headed out to Charlie Daniel’s Park here in Mount Juliet for Market Night. I think we primarily were interested in the Food Trucks more than the market night on this particular night, as our pics reveal, lol. I got a burger and was very happy to have it. I didn’t order fries until she said “you get a side” and I was unprepared so just said “fries”, darn it. I love fries, and it hurt my soul (NOT) to have to eat them. They were good too.     Eclipse, Maddie, and Hubby Drops His Pants at Dinner

    Just popping in! I feel very robot-ish at the moment. I’m just always “on task”! But all is going well, I suppose. So here are just random thoughts as they come to me. First of all on Monday the eclipse. We had fairly heavy cloud cover. But I prayed that even so we’d get some glimpses. God provided. I was able to view it through the clouds and see it! We did NOT have totality in our area and it did get dimmer and much colder. I didn’t hear crickets, but the birds were kinda going wild flying around and trying to get “settled”.
