Looking Back at Friday Friday when I left early to go get Mom and get her to the doc appointment, I left: 1) Hot as it was nearly 80 in our office 2) Mad (I won’t blog about it here) 3) Anxious over several things 4) Hungry. Needless to say, I was thankful it was a shorter day to have to be at work. September Coming, Test Results, and Retirement Finances
September is almost here. There is a little bit of excitement in the air, but there is also hesitation. My sister is having a rough time with her cancer treatments. She is near the end of the treatments. Almost through with chemo and almost through with radiation. She has reached the point though where she has some very painful radiation burns that has peeled the skin back to raw flesh in numerous spots and in very tender parts of her body. We are very upset but there is nothing we can do to make that better except let her know we are thinking of her. She is hoping not to…

Getting Thru an MRI Without a Panic Attack
The MRI’s of brain, neck/spine, and cervix were yesterday. They are done and complete. It will be a “few days” the technician said. I was a little nervous, mainly because I was worried about being in a small space for 20 minutes. I was afraid of a panic attack. And I DID have to talk myself through the process of NOT having one.
