Happy Saturday! This weekend’s vlog starts before the work week ends and takes you through the weekend. Maddie tries to go to work with me! So we take her on a little outing later in the weekend. She sees Dexter go to doggie daycare and she wanted to go somewhere. I take Mom to the doctor and out to eat. We talk about what tattoos we might get. And on the weekend I take you around and show you more of George’s retirement projects, plants, projects, garden work, edging, curb appeal, etc. He’s worked so hard. Good Eats, Texas News, and also Some Bad News
We have eaten really well this week! Meals cooked by Chef George! I found a recipe above for pasta and chicken with spinach, lemon juice, wine, and parmesan. And tomato I think. I love this kind of pasta with a light lemony sauce. I like to throw a bit of chicken broth in too. George added toasted sour dough cheese bread. Below is his jambalaya. Very good. Mother’s Day Weekend
We took Mom to Seafood Palace for Crab legs Thursday. It was messy but good! We ate with plastic gloves on. lol Saturday night George and I ate out at a Greek place. Saturday morning we got an acaii bowl at Smoothie King. So good! This is what I requested for MY mom’s day! I wanted this, the Greek dinner, and to visit Dragonfly, our local 2nd hand shop- consignment shop. I liked this pic but didn’t get it. It was $32. Here is an old typewriter that was in the store.
