Evening Dress Shopping and All the Things
Good morning. Hope everyone is doing well. I suppose all is well here this morning. Our plumbing is back. Yay! We have been without the ability to use the kitchen sink for over a week and so it’s nice to have the kitchen back. We made do. But now we can cook and clean more efficiently. Here is this week’s video in which I make Gumbo, and we go evening dress shopping and chat a bit about Mom’s care. You can watch it HERE. Lots to do today. Random Week in Retirement | This Week’s Update
Well we had a fun little time in Columbia, my old hometown where I grew up, but it did make my heart heavy as there was not only good times there but some heartbreaking times as well. So a little heavy at times. We had company over as Aunt Martha and Uncle Ken were up from Florida (Yulee/Amelia Island area) near Jacksonville. We enjoyed getting to see them. A Week in Retirement: Busy Days and Fun Moments
Spend the week with me. It was a good week, but last week’s busy week, plus editing this video nearly sent me over the edge. I had over 2 hours of footage. I had no idea. I weaseled at it and got it down to under an hour. Was not easy and took forever. To cut anything else out of it, would have detracted from the video I think. So enjoy a good detailed one.
