Life is like a puzzle piece. Speaking of, I’ve put in a few more pieces lately. I love having one going but must get it out of the way soon as we will need the “Christmas shopping table” to be put up. School has already started, traffic is much worse, schedules adjust all about, and soon fall will be fully underway, and that means a “busy season” for us. Thanksgiving Days along with some Thanksgiving Troubles
Good afternoon. Post Turkey Day. I’ve looked forward to this weekend for a long time. It is so hard to come by a day at home. And to have a few days finally is just delightful. It doesn’t come without threats to it though, as always. Mom went to Thanksgiving dinner to see my sister on Tuesday. She hobbled in and out with her gout. We had a nice time with my sister and my niece. My nephew had a virus and my BIL stayed home with him. September Coming, Test Results, and Retirement Finances
September is almost here. There is a little bit of excitement in the air, but there is also hesitation. My sister is having a rough time with her cancer treatments. She is near the end of the treatments. Almost through with chemo and almost through with radiation. She has reached the point though where she has some very painful radiation burns that has peeled the skin back to raw flesh in numerous spots and in very tender parts of her body. We are very upset but there is nothing we can do to make that better except let her know we are thinking of her. She is hoping not to…
