A Hail Storm and Wild Pig Trails

We went for an early morning walk yesterday. Katy wanted to get out of the house and of course we all needed to move. So we walked along the ranch road.
Come join the walk with me.
Above is a pig trail. We didn’t see any the whole time we were there on the ranch.

Here’s some pics of the terrain!

In an almost dessert dry location the Lord still makes beautiful things in the landscape. Lots of little wildflowers.

This one will be pretty when it blooms.

Poppy and River. And look another pig trail! I hope one doesn’t catch me over the hill there on us!

Let’s head back. It’s time to cuddle with Tater Tot! That’s my blog name for him!

He’s a fraction bigger every day!
George and I has a little trip to town to get Cody/Katy some water and to retrieve a frisbee George lost on the frisbee course. He got it!
And we went to the guest house to read while Katy and the kids napped.
And as we headed to Katy’s house next door the rain began! Then turned into a hail storm.

Here is where it came thru the gutter. it was quite exciting.

I had to capture this moment lol!
Look at this phenomena!

The sky was beautiful after the storm. Look at those dimples coming down from this cloud. And behind me the sunset!

And that really is about the sunset of our Texas trip!
We are headed back to Hot Springs as I type this. We should be there by lunch. We are only at Mineral Wells currently after about a 40 minute drive.
We are looking forward to some nice meals and a nice hotel room in Hot Springs and then on to home and to see our dogs tomorrow.
Hope you all have a great weekend!

Those “Pig Tails” are “Prickly Pears” here,I think. We used to feed them to our Tortoise and it was a job getting those prickles off.
