Hot Springs and Heading Home

It takes so long, this trip. Even 6 hours is long! Here we pass Dallas after a couple hours on the road. Hot Springs bound.

We stopped at Bucee’s for coffee and a potty break! I spent 45 minutes in there which delayed our lunch plans! lol
Katy sent one week old photos to us of Tater Tot!

We finally got to eat lunch at our pre-selected place, Diablo’s in Hot Springs. We got “street tacos”! So good! Barbacoa tacos were so good. Like the best tender roast beef you have ever had on a taco with lime and cilantro, etc.

Then we walked around Hot Springs til time to check into hotel.

We had to wait a few hours to head to dinner as we had a very late lunch. But we picked the Red Oak Filling Station outside of Hot Springs near Lake Hamilton. It was out in the country- but really on about 16 minutes away. Beautiful country. I mean really!

George got a Bloody Mary and I had a corona. He got a sampler plate and I had a catfish plate. Oh my it was good! We enjoyed ourselves here!

The room was pretty nice. A little outdated in bathroom and carpet but comfortable enough!

We really enjoyed having the sofa!

We said bye to Hot Springs after a nice free breakfast and we are headed towards home and to pick up our fur babes!
Pray for our travel as we have a tire losing air. George sprayed fix a flat in it to get us home! We have 5 hours still!
Hope your weekend is going well. I suppose my next mission will be buying a car! I’m not going to drive mine anymore!
I’ll post and let you know we got home tomorrow. I’m trying to keep myself busy here in the car. And I’ll be driving soon myself as we switch up every couple of hours.
No video today of course. But we will pick up where we left off next weekend.
