The travel day went well. We had a slight but interesting detour through the woods, thanks to Waze, who led us around a long incident on the interstate. And it got us home with and hour and half to spare to pick dogs up!
Dexter and Maddie were so happy to see us. Maddie has a cold I think. She’s either got a cold, allergies, or it’s her heart. I think allergies. They have been outside a lot. She did this some when we first got her. So hopefully being home and mostly inside will help her.
Dexter was crazy excited to see us. Maddie was too once she realized it was us. She has stuck to me like glue since. She keeps an eye on me. But both were so happy to be back in their beds.
Maddie did a little bitty dance when she realized we were going to bed and she would be sleeping with me. We played with her monkey. She retrieved it three times, so she doesn’t feel too bad. Doesn’t seem to have a fever.
Both dogs seemed to sigh in relief and overly relax once home. Refer to Maddie above. Dexter did the same. Deep rest/sleep. Maddie was upside down sleeping beside me this morning. She never does that- just so relaxed to be home!
So were we. Home arrival was sweet and we had pizza! 🙂
So today is busy! Unpacking, cleaning, laundry, grocery, buying a car, getting Moms bills paid, getting her mail. She said she didn’t need groceries yet. But wants to go out and eat later in the week and get them then.
I also want to get the next video started so I can edit it.
