My Very Modest and Minimal Spring and Easter Decor

Good morning. Even though I was just released from the hospital yesterday after an appendectomy I had edited enough of the video that I had time to finish and meet my upload goal so you would have a video this morning. So welcome to my little SPRING DECOR vlog. You can watch it HERE.
The video starts with the deer footage and our cats which someone had requested to see.
Take care everyone and have a great weekend.
As far as how I’m feeling and doing. As good as I can I guess following surgery. I’m very sore today. It kinda hurts to move in any direction. Just kinda miserable to be frank. Miss the hospital bed for sleeping with its adjustable nature. I slept in 3 places trying to get comfortable. My bed was not it. The chair in my bedroom was only ok for a little while but the reclining couch seemed to work pretty well. It hurts to get up. It hurts to bend. It hurts to move. But hopefully the mending and repair will get better each day after today.
Ok you can watch the today’s video HERE and thanks for checking in with the blog today. I’ll be back tomorrow with an update.

If you have a small, soft pillow you can hold it on your stomach when trying to move.

I do. It also keeps Maddie at bay while I get settled in.

The hospital should keep people longer after having surgery. I know when I had my gall bladder removed it was done as outpatient. I was in so much pain. Honestly I thought I might die. I had been hurting for a long time but they couldn’t take it out because I had bronchitis.
That was a hard surgery. I know what you mean about getting up and down after surgery. On a happy note I’m betting you will feel so much better since they got that thing out. It was probably poisoning your entire system. It’s a good thing it didn’t rupture.
Just rest as much as you can. Each day will get easier.

Thank you! My morale is a bit low today. I’m trying but a low grade fever has set in/ which is common but still. I’m impatient and don’t feel like doing anything – even reading. So I feel helpless. But I understand that’s part of it and trying to just keep my mind busy.

I enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing All the animals. Of course we know you don’t have a favorite. Lol
When George had the Magnifying Glass, I thought it was gonna be like ‘Romper Room’- “I see Tommy, I see Joey, I see Betty, etc..”

George said he thought about doing that! Are we all showing our age or what? lol He’s still mad that Miss Nancy did not see “little George”!
