Each Day Hopefully Better

Reading, editing, sleeping, petting the dogs, and doing laundry have been the to do items the last two days, following the appendectomy. I have a “grabber” that has helped with the laundry as I can’t bend too far over.

Today was about 10-20 % improvement over yesterday. Not quite as sore, not as hard to get from seated to standing, not as painful when I cough.

Morale better than yesterday too. Yesterday I felt like I was going to take forever to feel better. Today gave me hope.

Yesterday was a bit boring as I didn’t feel like doing much and too uncomfortable to sleep, which had to be done in recliner. Today I’ve kept busy and seemed a little less aggravated by the circumstances.

The tummy is still very “full” or “feeling swollen” from the procedure. Hard to describe. It feels like I have a couple of steel plates in there.

Work sent flowers which are so pretty and made me smile. Got those yesterday when I really needed the pick me up!

George fixed homemade chicken and pasta soup which hit the spot.

Meanwhile in Texas…

Katy is beautiful and almost ready for birth. We should know more tomorrow as far as if she will be induced or not. If so we can sorta make plans and reservations.

I gotta get well yall! I’ve got a daughter and grandson to attend to.

Little Roo… playing in box as they got the nursery finished.

Love the recliner or rocker chair in each room. One is their own bedroom.

I’m heading back to work tomorrow. I was told I could when I felt ready. I’m not sure I can last a whole day. I have to lean back some and have periods of rest from scrunching up my tummy while sitting at a desk.

So I will work a bit and see how it goes.

Well, just checking in. Will post again later in the week.

I didn’t really care for the video this week. It wasn’t my best work but considering the situation I’m giving myself a break.

I also lost a few subscribers- only 2 or 3 but it made me feel like it was just this latest video. But I try to remember that I only want people here/there that like me for me. I know they all really want or need something though. Only a few will stay to watch a 61 year old do life.

Anyway over and out and thankful to you guys that keep coming back! 🙂

Glad you’re feeling a bit better but SHOCKED to read your going back to work. Over here you would be advised to have at least a hole week perhaps two…you must remember just cause you can’t see the wound inside your tum it’s there just the same and needs time to properly heal. You will have to be sitting driving for 3/4 hr. Not once but twice…bent over the wheel what happens if you have to brake suddenly ? At work I’m sure they will be surprised raised to see you, and no doubt worried about you. I don’t expect you will listen what I say but honestly love I’m real real worried about you. However all I can do is pray that the Lord will watch over you …PLEASE THINK ON. GOD BLESS. 🥰🥰

Whatever you do don’t lift anything. I’ve never heard of a Dr. releasing someone that soon to go back to work after a major surgery. I’m glad you are feeling better though. Take care..

It makes my day when I hear from you...
