Back Home, Texas, Mice, and Technology
Well, hello friends. I have been home from Texas for a couple of days now. I slept well Tuesday night in my own bed. I changed the sheets and my bed had a lovely scent of Buff City Soap’s Narcissist scent. It smells so good. In my mind yesterday I found myself still in Texas time and thinking about our routines, and how I have a love/dislike relationship with Texas. I love, love, love the ranch feeling. A Little Relax Time on the Ranch
Good afternoon! We are back from church. The kids are taking their afternoon nap for 2-3 hours. So I’m back at the guest house. Whenever we are here we always give them their nap time, give Katy and Cody their time. And it gives me some time to myself and we don’t wear out our welcome. I’ve also enjoyed coffee time. I did not see the mice last night nor this morning so I think the one mouse DID listen to me about moving his family immediately before they set traps out. I want them to survive but just not here. Well, it’s been a fun and busy couple of days. Katy picked me up at the airport on Tuesday in Dallas and we headed to Waco which was a 1.5 hour drive. We ended up going to a Mexican restaurant called Sagrado Covina and Bar. In Waco for lunch. We shopped at Spice Village – a fun little shopping place. We then went to Waco Ale Co. and had a beer.
