    Yesterday, instead of doing Christmas decor, I decided it best to go on and get Mom over to the new place and do the Christmas decor Saturday. I’ll be a day behind on the decorating and I might have to short cut some of it, but it is what it is. I can decorate better when there is less going on in the house, so it sounded like a better plan.     Shopping at Demeter’s Common and Public Square Marketplace in Lebanon, TN

    George and I found this little gem of a produce, gift shop, grocery store, community store, happy shop of a place. Then we lost it during the pandemic period. We thought it had closed. However, I kept seeing Instagram posts and I told George “no, they can’t be closed”. I messaged them and they simply moved closer to the square. So we have had it on our list to go back.     Norm’s Amish Market and Snow White Drive In / Mount Juliet and Lebanon, TN Area

    Our day was mighty fine yesterday. It did ALL of our souls good to get out and do a few things other than work and home, chores, and to do lists. Our first order of business was to stop at Norm’s, a local roadside market with mostly Amish goods from Scottsville, KY. We used to go every year but it’s a little far for us now. So it’s nice to see this place, although pricier since its the middle man. I loved the photo opportunity and these Mum’s will be in full bloom soon.
