Blogmas Day 13: Hugging my Spirit Animal, and Giving up the Videos for most of December!
Highlight of my day! My secret Santa gave me a sloth. I recently declared and embraced the sloth as my spirit animal, slow and steady, methodical! I absolutely love this! It’s so soft and cuddly. And the smile is so cute! What a perfect gift! And the chill out message is totally spot on. I’m actually taking it to heart too. I developed a tummy ache. NOT diverticulitis. But just a tummy ache in the middle of my stomach. It got worse and worse and acetaminophen didn’t help. Nothing sharp but just a dull ache. I wasn’t sure I could drive home but I did it. Blogmas Day 12: The one With Godiva and Coffee
Let’s see: 1. Payroll is done and that makes the week sweet enough. 2. An office mate passed out Godiva chocolate candies. I had two! I saved it for later. Later was “about 20 minutes” lol! With coffee. 3. After work I went to Walmart. Finished my Secret Santa shopping that got cut short on Sunday. And finished getting George’s stocking stuffers. 4. Got a call from Mom that Aunt Martha and Uncle Ken arrived. Yay. 5. Discovered that gluten for sure makes my tummy tum swell up. Had a beer and breaded fish. Sloth Christmas Ornament & an Overwhelming Time of Year
Isn’t he cute? My spirit animal. Slow and steady she goes. It is somewhat comforting to know that one can move forward – even if slowly. So I decided on a whim last night to do Blogmas again.It starts tomorrow on Dec 1. It won’t be long and well thought out, but it’ll be something even if only a photo. Or a few daily thoughts.
