    Enjoying the Blissful Long July 4th Weekend, Dexter Dog Photos, and Some Good Eating

    The Bliss of a 3-Day Weekend and Dexter Dude Update Saturday was quite blissful, waking up and knowing that the 3 day weekend was before me and I really only have to get out of the house to go get Mom on July 4. I love being at home and the three day weekend always brings such balance. We should have them every week to have true balance, lol! (Wishful thinking at play here.)     Fabulous Easter Weekend / Slammed for Quarter End / Our Busy Schedule

    Good morning! I’m in a terrific rush this morning but wanted to pop in as I see that people are popping in to check for new blog entries. It’s quarter end and I’m all out of time and having to use my morning blog time to get in extra work time. But my heart melted when I saw the regulars were coming on to look for a post.     Happy Thanksgiving from us Turkeys here in Mount Juliet!

    We are up today and relieved to have had a morning’s rest without alarms sounding. I slept 10 much needed hours myself. Not expected to have blogged today but we are doing a bit of a lot of things today. I’ve done my devo, have worked in the kitchen and made dressed eggs. Mom made her sweet potatoes. George made his pea and asparagus casserole from scratch last night. And the cornbread for the stuffing. I’m off to make some bacon for breakfast – we might have already snuck in a dressed egg. I’ve even worked on the video some. The table is set for a 4:00 p.m. meal today.…
