Sharing With You…The Week of the Surprise Surgery
Here’s the video to the past week or so leading up to the surprise appendectomy. You can watch it here. All is going well. It’s been a pretty good week of recovery. I’m sandwiched between 1) trying to catch up at work (from year end and from having this issue) and 2) trying to get things done before we head out to Texas. It’s odd living in limbo. Thursday’s Appendectomy
Well, it wasn’t how I planned to end the day Thursday. About 3:30 I began to feel bad around my belly button- like something wasn’t agreeing with me. It continued to aggravate me. Once home I realized it was pain radiating from the right of my belly button and a tad lower. I could not get comfortable and found no resolve. I was pretty certain it was going to be my appendix. Or worse. I packed a small bag and apologized to George for the evening we were about to have- hours of tired waiting in ER. We left for TriStar Summit about 8:30 p.m. We spent the night waiting…
