    And Here is Where I Start to Hyperventilate over Holiday Stress

    I mean YEAH! Here’s where I start to get overwhelmed and feeling crunched and tied. It all kicks in after Halloween. Ha! As if it hadn’t already started getting busy. The appointments, dates, requests, gotta-get-dones, extra work at work, extra stuff at home, extra needs on everyone’s part, scheduling, travel, shopping, planning. My head is starting to spin, my hands are starting to shake, and I can feel anxiety building within the very core of me. I get a flight or fight response with every request. I’m trying not to panic.     Relaxing Three Day Weekends Should be the Norm, Negative Thoughts vs Positive Ones

    Well, as much as we were off (3 days) I spent very little time at the computer desk. I did do a blog entry and delete the debris from the last video and started the file for the next video with pics and videos – no editing. I really just took a huge break from it all for the most part. The goal was to make it a nice 4th meal for Mom and George (and me too), to work on our house some, to enjoy Dexter, and to relax.     News from the Frozen Tundra and Nixing Anxiety

    This is NOT us, but it may as well be. You feel so cut off from the world, even with neighbors around, when you are iced in. It’s been a weird snow fall. It really hasn’t even been snow so much as just any icy pellet that looks like snow. So far our power has held. Not so for my daughter and her husband and the baby. I knew it in my heart when I awoke yesterday, that their power was going out. I prayed about it before I even knew for sure it happened. I prayed for their protection and warmth.
