Blogmas Day 18: More Surprises
The last Secret Santa gift arrived! I was very touched to get a mug with the 2023 phrase of the year on it from my blog site. These were my overall goals. I did laugh more. I definitely shared more. I learned some. I’m lacking on enjoyment. Although I think we enjoyed 2023 more than the 2 years before that. And on the flip side…. The “managing life’s to do list” with grace…. Blogmas Day 17: Time with Family and Planning Christmas Meals.
We visited an assisted living place today. Only to donate something but still it was good to see this place. Hearthstone Assisted Living in Lebanon TN. It is a place I would consider for Mom. We ate lunch on the square in Lebanon at Town Square Social. And ate with Aunt Martha and Uncle Ken up from FL. Here was my view out the window. George and I came home and worked on our to do lists. Laundry for me, some weekly planning, and meal planning and writing grocery lists and making my to do lists for the Christmas meals and figuring out when to make what. I have a…

Blogmas Day 16: The one with the Miracle
Yes, it was a miracle pull off. I just, on whim, decided to stop everything and try to finish it “real quick” yesterday morning. Turns out I was able to eliminate a lot of footage some of which was not supposed to be in there anyway, and got it done. Since I was off I had time to “wiggle my mouse” and keep the upload going through the day and get the thumbnail done real quick. Off to take Maddie for a trim and get a gift I forgot yesterday. Went to the store for that reason only and got caught up in the store and excited about shopping in there and left…
