Move Day for Mom into Assisted Living

A collage of four images featuring people. The top left shows a smiling woman with short hair. The top right displays a man holding two metal poles in a kitchen. The bottom left features a woman sitting in a chair, examining a device, with a blue bin and various items around her. The bottom right showcases a hand petting a fluffy orange and white toy cat.

Packing (missing clips from week before) plus our actual move and set up into assisted living. We were so naive as to what was really happening. But we soon found out. You can watch it HERE.

Your Mom has a really nice new place. I hope she will be very happy there. It looks like she has everything she needs.
And it takes a lot of worry off you knowing She’s getting the care she needs.
Just take a deep breath and enjoy some time for you and your husband.
Maybe a nice cruise somewhere tropical with white sandy beaches and crystal blue water.
    You sure have earned it.
Take care and try to relax. It will all work out in the end.

Yes it’s good to know she has help and a call button and three meals a day. She’s communicating with more people and even socializing some on the front porch. She’s communicating told me she saw Elvis yesterday. They had an Elvis come entertain them. lol 😂

Well not really slowing much…but it’s not ALL Mom. Just kinda trying to catch up. Maddie vet check up and shots, my Mammogram was due, we had dinner out and a movie matinee day, working in Moms garage and today is Moms heart doc appointment, and I had to shop for some white tops in Moms new size yesterday. So it HAS been a busy week for sure.

It makes my day when I hear from you...
