Last Day of Blogmas: Hibachi Sushi Night Celebrating Birthdays and Enjoying Texas Family

Hey friends! Merry Christmas to you! We have been busy the last couple days, Friday and Saturday, finishing up everything, doing the final grocery runs, and prepping food and making lists on when and what to prep today and tomorrow.
I took a bit of a break from social media the last couple of days. Not entirely, but I did not film much, did not post much. I really needed to focus on Christmas and I took some time out for myself to make a few notes, do some bullet journaling, and do some planning for 2024. Feeling good about all that now. A lot done in just an hour of quiet time.
We spent some time with Katy and Cody and River last night. We took the kids out for their birthdays but also celebrated mine and River’s too. There were four of us with birthdays – two in December and two in January. We took River to the hibachi grill. He loved it.

We went to “Chad’s” 109 Christmas Light drive through after it. Everyone was a good sport as we waited in line over an hour on the road to get in. I showed River all the funny dog reels and animal reels I could find and he was sooooo good. I also taught him how to play a Tetris like blog game that he did surprisingly well on for a 2 year old (almost 3). He’s a smart boy at figuring things out.

Here they are holding the sign and signing happy birthday and not pictured are 4 ice creams for all of our four birthdays. Yes, we were at Nobu, Hibachi Sushi here in Mount Juliet.
Fun time had by all.
Well we are about ready to go to church and meet Katy and Cody and River. They are going to church with us today. I need to finish getting ready!
We will have Christmas dinner tonight with Mom and Aunt Martha and Uncle Ken and then have Christmas with everyone here in the morning/brunch/afternoon.
Then I’ll crash tomorrow night and have to payroll on Tuesday! :-P
Merry Christmas Everyone! I’ll be back soon.
