Summer Bucket List and a Few Surprises
Sunday May 31, 2026 I started a new bucket list for the summer. I had to move a lot from our spring list on to this list. We have just been so busy with Mom’s health and setting up her move. Here was how our list shaped up for Spring: I read 3 books, got my Acaii bowl, cleaned out Mom’s fridge, lost 6 lbs, went yard sailing with George, went to Salvo’s Pizza, had a nice Easter meal, went to Ella’s wedding, looked to declutter the basement closet (we already did it, lol), cleaned out Dexter’s toys, decluttered my unused filming equipment, Mother’s Day celebrations, used up our Starbuck’s…

Maddie’s Trim, Grandson’s Wee School, and Monetization on YouTube
Good morning! Ms. Maddie got a trim yesterday and she looks so cute. I think she has a little pep in her step, and a little prancing around going on. I had them leave some hair around her ears so she didn’t look like a male dog, but maybe I need to trim that up a bit. They may have left too much. And of course the bandana swallows her. And the grandson started “Wee School” this week. It’s like a pre-K program just a couple of days a week. And he loved it. He wanted to go back the next day. I had tears when I got the pictures.…

Winter in Texas
The snow was beautiful on the ranch! I love being “out in the country” so to speak! The “kids” took Little Buckaroo to a lactation specialist yesterday and a follow up today. He’s been a little jaundiced. We sat him in the sun some today. He has an appointment with the Pediatrician on Thursday. George came to get me yesterday and again today as he is staying at a “fisherman’s lodge not too far away”. I was craving unsweet iced tea so we went to McDonald’s drive thru. Someone had built a snow man. River got to outside for a pic! But yesterday and today the snow has melted. Oh…
