Changing Mindsets and Changing Seasons
And, just like that, summer is over. I can see the leaves changing already despite are still warm temps, and the grass is losing it’s green. It has not rained in probably two weeks so it’s true things are drying out. (Rain is coming hopefully this week.) The schedule is picking up, our calendars are filling up, the days are noticeably shorter, the nights a bit cooler, and you can feel a slightly cooler breeze when the breeze decides to blow. And all these things delight my soul. I have looked forward to Sept 1 for a long time. We were going to have “one more last day of summer”…

Summer Funk is almost Over and Fall is Coming Ya’ll!
Hello Friends. We have a fabulous week going on here. I can feel my spirit go from kind of a dead summer funk to a cozy, fall-is-almost-here, kind of vibe. After all school is back in session, we are starting to look ahead and plan for the rest of the year, a few leaves are falling when the winds blow, and a few are turning already even though the heat is still 90 degrees most days. You can just feel the gravity of movement toward fall. And every now and then even on a hot day when a breeze blows, it feels just a little bit cooler than it has…

Company’s Coming But I’m NOT Stressed!
Happy Saturday morning here! It’s FALL in TN! The leaves are very much at peak and many have fallen. I’m looking out one window and see NO leaves on trees and the other window has yellow and orange leaves. It just happens so fast! We have rain coming. But I’m here to bring you today’s VLOG.
