The State of the Union, Well – ok, The House
Well, good morning! It’s Wednesday morning as I type this and have a few things on my mind and a few things to share. First of all, we have not been able to use our kitchen sink since last Thursday, I believe. The plumber (Lee Company) came Friday and said “oh ok yeah we don’t have the parts for that and we’ll need to reschedule”. So they rescheduled for yesterday which was Tuesday. So we did take out and washed dishes in a rubbermaid tub thing from the bathroom sink water. We were anxiously awaiting the repairs and had in our minds that this morning we’d be functioning again. Fridge Clean Out and Update
Hey there! Hope everyone is doing well. It’s been a busy week this week with family in Texas. Relaxing the first part of the week and putting our very vintage “parenting skills” to test for 3 days of babysitting while DD and SIL go away for weekend, amidst a 12 hour dust storm, and discovering we’ve been sleeping with a scorpion for two nights, as well as rediscovering again how one of us is the “bad guy” and the other “the hero” style of parenting.
