Tuesday, Dec 2 I rather liked doing the blog as a draft and doing a week at a time last week. It was simple and easy and flowed for me, not having to publish it afterwards each time and share it. Dealing with Missed Opportunities / Having a Better Attitude When Goals are Not Met
There’s no amount of “told you so” or “Hurry UP” or “we are running out of time” statements that one can make during the quarter end crunch. Everyone is so busy. More things have been piled on people everywhere and most departments are short staffed. I’m the last guy on the totem pole of what gets done to get the data and information so I can finish doing the payroll tax withholding and unemployment returns. Adjustments were just made as late as yesterday and so all the reports I ran early in the month were wrong. I received the new information Monday but by then I’m in to the payroll…

Roller Coaster Ride and Deep Disappointment Trying to Adopt a Bonded Pair of Dogs
My heart hurts. We were approved for Jasmin and Casper after going through a roller coaster of maybe we’ll get them, looks like we might not, to we are APPROVED to get them, and pick them up on Saturday to, “oops I’m sorry you don’t have a fence and one of them is a flight risk and so now you can’t have them, sorry. Is there another one you want?” I had been warned that adoption agencies would be a roller coaster ride.
