A Week of Contentment and Joy
It’s been a fun week this week and a week of just inner joy, enjoying retirement – no real place I had to be and just being able to live a slow but yet fulfilling few days. I have been bad about writing. I am trying to figure out why because it used to be the first thing I did when I got up. I was anxious to tell the world about my day the day before. I’m Content -but I’m seeking the “Giddy” Happy!
Monday, March 23 Excited to have a good stretch of week to get a few things done that I’ve been trying to do. Mom does not have any doctors appointments this week and we have no outings planned. I think we both needed a break. The days out are certainly hard on her trying to get up and ready and out the door. And they tire me out too for some reason. Busy Productive Week and Mom’s Health Update
Sunday, March 15 It’s been a good day today. A church day. We had a nice Sunday School class today as most of our crowd was there. Many have had surgeries, procedures, and a lot going on. Then we got Mom’s groceries and got Wendy’s. George and I got chili. Mom wanted the taco salad. Mom had been able to go through her closet some in the past week (amazing) and get a stack of pants that were too big for her. She put the capris all in a spot for me to see if I could wear them.
